HH the Syrian Orthodox Patriarch Afrem II Karim wrote a letter to the leadership of World Council of Arameans, WCA, August 2, 2017, after their latest accusations and allegations against his leadership and project to establish a new TV Channel named Suboro TV. In his reply Patriach Karim reveals the hidden agenda of the Aramean movement to not only control the church, but also change its name to ”Syrian Aramean Church”, which the WCA demanded from the Synod in March 2017.
