The chairman of the American Mesopotamian Organization, Mr. David William Lazar, was one of the advisers within the American MidEast Coalition for Trump (AMCT) until the successful election of Donald Trump to US presidency. After the elections, the news was spread that Mr. Lazar, Dr. Walid Phares and Dr. Gabriel Sawma were appointed as advisers to the new administration. But this is not accurate, he says. People have confused the advisory to AMCT and the upcoming administration in the White House. However, the group of advisers to AMCT, consisting of Turks, Arabs, Muslims, Christian Assyrians etc, has the ear of the Trump administration in a way that never before happened to the Assyrian community in USA, Mr. Lazar adds.
In this program we discus what the election of Donald Trump means to the chaos in the Middle East in general and the Assyrians in particular; what improvements we can expect after ISIS is gone, whether the declarations of KRG President Massoud Barzani on the occupation of so called disputed areas (the Nineveh Plains and Kirkuk) may lead to a confrontation between the Kurds and the Arabs, what would happen to the Assyrian demands of self rule in Gozarto (Syria) and so on.
Language: English, with a summery in Assyrian.
