The first day of the Assyrian Convention in Gothenburg ended up with an appreciated entertainment of nationalistic songs and dance, in Assyrian called ”Shahro” by well known Assyrian musicians Josef Cacan (Song, Oud), Shikri Yawse (Song, Saz, Flute), Frank Fikri Garis (Violin), his young daughter Inanna Garis (Violin) and Andreas Barjosef (Keyboard). It went on for three hours till after midnight, but we have shortened it to about half an hour.
Shikri Yawse and Frank Fikri Garis were members of former Assyrian band ”Gudo d Ninveh” in Gothenburg with several high quality productions at the 1980s and 1990s.
