Mr. Admon Gabrial, head of Assyrian Charity Association in Hassakeh, Syria, tells about the current situation in the Assyrian villages of Khabur. Some villages are sill empty while there are only few elderly in some others, and these people need help from Assyrian Diaspora to survive, for example if one or two families in the Diaspora could organize a monthly payment of 100 US Dollars to each Assyrian family in Khabur or to those who fled to Lebanon, that would help them a lot. The Assyrian Charity Association was established at 2004 and is cooperating with international aid organizations, such as WHO, UNFPA, Assyrians Without Borders and some Christian organizations.
