His Beatitude, the Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, Mar Louis Sako, defends his position on the arming of the Assyrian Defence forces in the Nineveh Plains  and states: non of these forces are independent and they are exploited by local and internationals powers, whose agenda they are serving.   Patriarch Sako also calls for a united and a realistic lobby since the current lobbying groups are, according to him, nothing more than a big farce.
