A program dedicated to investigative journalism

Assyria TV:s Special Investigations is the leading Assyrian TV program
for investigative journalism. The TV show exposes corruption, abuse of
power and systemic failure on all levels of the Assyrian society. The show
is devoted to comprehensive journalistic investigations by our team of
reporters. It is lead by our editorial board in Stockholm, Sweden.

Each show focuses on one specific case and is accompanied by an article
published on Assyria TV:s homepage. The articles contain all facts and
pieces of evidence so that our viewers can have a comprehensive
overview on each case and examine the evidence themselves.

Our mission is to expose corruption and abuse of power and hold public
figures and organisations to account. We give Assyrians the tools they
need to take a standpoint in different issues in the Assyrian communities.
This requires that we have the confidence of the viewers. This confidence
presumes that we are accurate, fair and courageous.

The journalistic work of the Assyria TV editorial board has to comply with
the written guidelines adopted by our board of directors. Assyria TV also
voluntarily complies with the journalistic principles of the Federation of
Swedish Journalists (Svenska Journalistförbundet) as we are mainly
based in Sweden.
